The master's thesis concerns the article 1441 of the Criminal Code of Georgia,According to which "torture" is prohibited. The work consists of the introduction, three chapters and conclusions. At the end of the work is indicated used literature.In the first chapter of the work, I consider the literature that I used in writing and their importance to this topic.The second chapter refers to the main part of the topic where the subject matter and its structure are examined are divided into four subdivisions.In the first and second subparagraphs the objective and subjective composition of the action is discussed,In the third sub-paragraph, it is about the aggravating circumstances of the norm. As for the fourth subdomain, there are 1441 (torture) and 1443 articles (degrading or inhuman treatment).In the third chapter of the work, the focus is on the results of the research topic, where the events that took place over the last few years are reflected.The final part of the work is summarized in the negative aspects of Article 1441.
