The represented thesis for Master’s degree reflects both historical and contemporary aspects of state and media relations, common problems, mechanisms of influence of mass communication in the process of formation of state and public opinion and the importance of its fair and objective activities in the socio-economic well-being of society, cultural redevelopment, providing the deepening of national values and traditions.
The paper focuses on such topical issues, such as: mechanismsto gain the reputation and prestige for the state - both domestically and internationally -by means of media as well as effective communication with the public, methods of delivery of the measures taken by the government to the society and the mechanisms of solving the problem together.
The thesis focuses on the positive and negative consequences arising from the state, society and media relations process. The main challenges are identified as a result of the research, reflecting thesignificant guiding findings, the basic problems are discussed and our vision of solving them is proposed.
