Master's thesis is about the energy security of the Caucasus Region and the role of Black Sea Coast area in its strengthening.
In modern times, world countries are trying to strengthen their own energy security by bringing alternative sources of energy resources. The interest of the European states in respect of Caspian Coast Energy Resources, Caucasus Region gives opportunity to be a main link of the regional projects and to contribute a new regionalization (Europe-Caucasus-Caspian Coast) models. Depending on various factors, it may be possible to bring additional threats from the northern neighbor which has remained in the Caucasus Region's integration history.
Since the post-bipolar period, the Black Sea area was one of the warrantees of the Caucasus Security and through the influence of globalization it has assumed the role of strengthening of energy security. An independent energy policy is vitally important for these regions by policy-economic point of view. Also, in the work discussed current energy geopolitical processes, the importance of the Black Sea area in the existing geopolitical space.
With a literary analysis of the topic and collecting them, I tried to represent the pros and cons of the main systems of energy security in the Caucasus and the formation of a new regionalization model.
