Dynamics of direct foreign investments and prospects for its development in Georgia

Especially now – during the development of globalization, Foreign direct investment (FDI) is very important for Georgia. For developing country like Georgia is towards growth of investments. Because all of that, country creates an environment, where foreign investors will have a long-term interest in capital investments. With increase of FDI, Georgia’s economics will develop. Presented master's thesis deals with the dynamics of direct foreign investments in Georgia, which are discussed in different sectors of economy, investor countries and development stages.
In the first chapter of the work the general essence of investment and state investment policy is discussed. In particular, the subjects cover the types of investments, development and their role in the economy of the country.
The second chapter covers the investment environment of Georgia, the country's foreign investor and the dynamics of incoming foreign investments are analyzed.
The third chapter analyzes the ways of attracting foreign investments, problems related to this issue, possible risks and ways of overcoming them.
The conclusion is that the research results are generalized.
