The topic of the master's thesis is the impact of transnational corporations on the economies of transition countries. Transnational corporations have played an important role for the long time in the world economy as a whole, as well as in the economies of transition countries. The process of globalization has not only increased the role of corporations in the world economy and politics, and has made them one of the main actors in international relations, but has also significantly changed its structure and content.
The share of transnational corporations in the markets of transition countries as well as in their economies is quite large. Although 25 years have passed since market relations in these countries, the issue of completing transformational processes remains open.
The study discusses the essence of transnational corporations, key areas of activity and their strategies. As well as the economic reforms of the transition countries, in particular Eastern Europe and the Baltic States, and the activities of the transnational corporations in it.
The thesis also discusses in detail the role of transnational corporations and foreign investment in the economies of transition countries. Here is an example of Georgia and we have conducted a study on the role of these transnational corporations in strengthening the Georgian economy and the impact of foreign investment on the country's economy. Based on the analysis, the conclusion is made.
