Abstract
From the second half of the 16 th century, appeared to be the conqueror of Georgia, Iran to the east, Russia to the north, and the ottomans to the west. The ottomans annexed the southwestern part of Georgia and made it part of their empire. The “Ottoman period” began, which forced the Georgian population to live under its rule for three centuries due to political, economic and religious factors. Nevertheless, the Georgian people have never reconciled themselves to being under foreign rule. It is true that it was forcibly converted to the Muslim faith, but it did not lose its national identity and spiritual existence. At the same time, it was internally encouraged by the idea of Georgia’s spiritual unity and fought for national independence to free itself from Ottoman rule. With the end of the Russo-Ottoman War of 1877-1878, a great problem and agreat tragedy appeared in the history of the Georgian nation, this was a great deportation of Georgian Muslims to the Ottoman Empire, which was mainly the result of the deliberate and insidious policies of the Ottoman and Russia empires.
