Abstract
The financial sector is of great importance to the country's economy, since it plays the role of the most effective mediator between creditors and borrowers. In contrast to ordinary companies, the problems of commercial banks or other financial sector will be reflected in the rest of the economy. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the financial sector's risks.
One of the main principles of commercial banking activity is to get as much profit as possible. This aspiration is limited by possible risks accompanied by banking activity. Of course, their scale and negative impact are different. The risk level increases when the problems arise suddenly and the bank will not be ready to timely and neutralize it. Finally, it can be said that receiving the desired profit is possible only in the commercial bank only when the probable risks or probable losses are predetermined, calculated and insured. This may only be possible if the banking risks are well equipped with knowledge, control and management.
One of the main functions of the National Bank of Georgia is to ensure the stability of the financial system. The financial sector is of great importance to the country's economy, since it plays the role of the most effective mediator between creditors and borrowers. For example, commercial banks, which constitute the main sector of the financial sector in Georgia, receive deposits from the population and companies, then transfer them to other households and enterprises. At the same time, through any commercial banks, any non-cash type of payment is carried out both inside and outside the country. Consequently, unlike ordinary companies, the problems of commercial banks or other financial sector will be reflected in the rest of the economy. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the financial sector's risks as a separate institution of financial institution as well as the entiresector.
