The aim of the research paper is to study use of mediation in nowadays life and its effectiveness
in Georgia. Assessing the current situation with literature and document review, we will be
able to bring solutions about this issue. Apart from that, the research paper is representing indepth

interview and Discourse analysis, which shows tendencies that are spread today. In
addition, in the paper there is a research hold in 2007 that gives us opportunity to compare
two different situations with each other. This will help us to see the necessity of alternative
dispute resolution.
Research results showed that since 2007 mediation as one of the methods of alternative
dispute resolution is more effective, because many componies were set up and they offer
mediation as a new and effective method for conflict resolution. Apart from that, research
showed that Georgia does not have well prepeared practice for conflict resolution, so to
improve these methods are very useful.
