Abstract
The master thesis considers vector meson production at the NICA collider. Main aim of the NICA project is the study of the hadronic matter at the maximum baryon density and investigation of the spin structure of the hadrons. Vector meson and lepton pair (dilepton) production plays very important role in these studies. Models of -meson and dilepton production in proton-proton and nucleus-nucleus interactions were considered in this thesis.
In particular VMD (Vector Mesom Dominance) model was studied. In this model differential cross-section and density matrix was obtained for 𝑝 + 𝑝 → 𝜌 + 𝑋 process. With a help of the density matrix it is possible to define physical parameters of this reaction, for example polarization and other characteristics of the hadronic matter.
