The mentioned Master's Thesis"Ethics and General Rules of Behavior in Public Service and Latest Trends for its Protection",concernstopical problem of public service andextremely large-scale in Georgian reality - the necessity of protection of ethical norms in the process of implementing authority by public officials, also further improvement, necessity and identification of the existing protection mechanisms. The aim of the researchwas to study actual problems related to ethics of public service in Georgian public space, finding ways to solve them as a result of a thorough analysis of existing practice, our aim was to describe available condition in the public sector in transition epoch, analyze changes in existing legislation, which makes the research more actual. The task of a conducted research is to develop specific proposals, opinions and recommendations,which realization will help to increase the knowledge of the ethical aspects of public officer’s behavior, to increase the effectiveness of the acting administrative or legislative mechanism. The subject of the researchare defining aspects of human behaviorwith ethical behavior regulations,The object of the researchis to analyze the legal regulations that define the activities of public institutions relevant to the legislative basisregulating Georgian legislative service. As a main result we prove that, despite the many cardinal reforms in the public sector, the shortcomings and challenges still remain, especially noteworthyis the ethical nature problems in public service.The novelty of this research is that,problems existing in public service in this regard and legal mechanisms of its regulation have been studied.The recommendations proposed in the research and adaptation of their individual components will help to increase and develop the effectiveness of the public service.
