Method of substantiating the conditions for the legality of the detention of a criminal and their problems

The issue of arresting a criminal is not a novelty in Georgian criminal law. Professor T Shavgulidze was the first who arose a question of including the questions connected with arresting a criminal in Georgian criminal law in the 80s of the 20th century. The thesis covers the issues such as the concept of arresting a criminal, staying within the bounds of law and going beyond the bounds of moderation while arresting a criminal and it also suggests solutions of the problems connected with this issue.
