In the 21st century the use of technology has become an important part of the learning process in and out of the class. That is why it is necessary to change the teaching methods and introduce the information communication technologies (IСT) in education. The use of ICT in teachinglearning process is a relatively new phenomenon and it has been the educational researchers' focus.
The effective integration of this technology into classroom practices poses a challenge to teachers and administrators.
Therefore, it is necessary to provide educational institutions with new technologies that will make the learning process more efficient, quick and fun.
This work discusses the use of information communication technologies in teaching and learning to create a better learning environment for students, the ways of applying new technologies in teaching various areas, describes traditional and novel teaching methods, compares them, finds differences and ways of enriching traditional low-tech methods with high- tech methods. In order to study the impact of new technologies on the educational process and observation, we have created a Georgian-language information web page. This web page provides information on one of the ICT tools: OneNote, as well as lessons on its structure and use.
