State institutions in the "Kingdom of Abkhazians"

The article deals with the complexity of the “mamasakhlisi” and “Galatoztukhutsesi” institutions. Against the background of the data the conjeeture of existence of his institutions in Abkhaz Kingdom is proved. The meaning of this institutions has been analysed. There is an opinion that the forms of this institutions varied in Abkhaz Kingdom. Through the analyses of the village and monastic hagiography the idea is advanced that in the Abkhaz Kingdom “Mamasakhlisi” was not only in charge of economic affairs. Trough the data of “the Life of Grigol Khantsteli” by Giorgi Merchule personalities of Abkhaz Kingdom’s Mamasakhlisis have been clarified. The position of Galatoztukhutsesi is also recorded for the first time in the Abkhazian Kingdom.
