Relations between the European Union and the United States of America in the Strategic Stability of 21st Century

In the context of strategic stability of 21st century relations between two global players-European Union and USA are one of the most important power of international politics.It must me noted,that they have a long history of cooperation and it has been improving from the Cold War era to nowadays.If Europe's defense and security was guaranteed by USA aid and support during Cold War,at the present moment it is struggling to take care of its own defence,to find its place in Anarchistic system,that is not effortless in the context of globalization.After its main priority-security,the aim and purpose of European Union's Foreign Policy,which it is implementing by ''Soft Power'', is supporting and improving core democratic values and human rights,promoting the high level of environmental protection.As for the United States,it was keeping close relations to Europe during Cold War,when they had common enemy and threat-Soviet Union/Communism expansion,after that the attitudes and purposes of USA towards European Union depends on private visions and positions of United States of America.
