The first section of the work is a review of literature, which shows the role of the internet in the modern era and its importance in terms of business development. According to the authors, internet advertising is the main component for achieving marketing goals, and the latter would be unimaginable without the internet. The work demonstrates that internet has become an important factor for success. It is used to create awareness, to raise it, and deliver the right information to the final client. The authors agree that for the better development of trade, internet should be accessible, fast, reliable and cheap. It should be used without restrictions to increase consumption. The work highlights the fact that the information technologies have integrated the entire planet and facilitated both people's friendship and their business relationships at high level.
The next section of the Master's Thesis - Results and Discussion - includes the following subchapters: Digital Silk Road - the main ways and means for forming a unified digital market: China's initiative and opportunities for Georgia; Main directions of digital transformation of Georgia - new technologies and their impact on the traditional sectors of economy. The involvement of these trends in the development of national technologies will contribute to the equal competitive position of Georgian companies in the world market, while many other countries are actively developing similar fields of digital economy within their borders. Digital Silk Road - Unified Digital Platform for Promoting Economic Growth. The existence of a unified digital market of Silk Road will ensure free movement of digital goods, services and capital, will increase economic activity and create new startups and laboratories. It will also create additional jobs and promote innovation technologies.
The study provides a hypothesis of producing electric cars in Georgia, which will be realized as a result of the above-mentioned digital platform and will be sold within the countries of the Silk Road Corridor and other regions. Building an electric power plant and then selling the cars through the digital silk road platform will enable Georgia to increase GDP, reduce trade balance deficit, increase foreign direct investment. The results of the research are formulated as conclusion.
