Master‟s thesis refers to the political relations of the European Union with the post-Soviet
Transcaucasian Countries-Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The essence of this policy, basic stages, types and methods of partnership the effect of the
latter on political, social and economic condition of the mentioned countries are analyzed in the
current study. In addition, documents and treaties referring the mentioned relations are also
reviewed.
Results and materials obtained by our exclusive sociological research are used in the thesis
that enabled us to make certain type of prognosis in regard of the prospects of EU neighboring
policy towards the South Caucasus countries.
