Our research work "State policy towards IDPs in 2008-2019 years"concerns the problems
of IDPs in Georgia and the policy developed by the state to eradicate it.The aim of the research
was to study the following issues: granting IDP status, recovery and seizure, also eviction and
expulsion, compensation and providing long-term living space, therefore, I think our research
topic is actual. The task of a conducted research is to show, that the problems of IDPs in
Georgia is actual and specific and requires reforms from the state and solving the identified
needs.The subject of the research is to identify the needs of IDPs in Georgia and issue relevant
recommendations.The object of the research is the book fund saved in Georgian national
archeological archive and national library, also information placed on the official website of
Georgian government.As a main result of our research we prove that the problems of IDPs in
Georgia are still acute despite the many important steps taken by the state.The state needs to
take the next effective steps: to eradicateexisting shortcomings, identify IDPs problems and
needs and take effective steps towards this.The novelty of this research is to show that,despite
many reforms and effective steps from the state, this problem is still acute in our country.
