The Master's work presents the influence of video games as a media effect o through a genderlense.
Media researchers often talk about the positive and negative effects of video games, which we have examined with a case study, in-depth interview and the Uses and Gratifications Theory.
It should be noted that the influence of video games in Georgia is not studied in the gender context and this is the first study with such focus.
The study revealed that computer games have great influence on under-age citizens and their behavior in both, positive and negative aspects. The majority of video games are loaded with violence and promotes violence. The games that are best sellers are about the killing of zombies, execution of missions, robbery, car racing, military and superheroes missions, where we return to violence.
The issue confirmed our hypothesis, that the effect of video games is the same for both genders.
The influence on the boy and on the girl is the same.. According to the current data, (2017.07) more boys are play video games than girls, across the universe.
