Abstract
In the work of Natia Baramidze "Development of Thinking Skills in Mathematics Study Process" analyzes the issues of critical thinking and problem solving. Critical thinking components and strategies are given. Problems of problem situations and problematic tasks are offered in mathematics.
The scientific novelty of the thesis is to develop and analyze the effective approach of critical thinking to solve the problem. The experience of critical thinking and problem solving is analyzed.
Problem solving is a tactful act that combines with the ability to understand the emotional intake of the person, the will, the ability to communicate. Problem solving implies the idea of solving the problems and methods of supporting certain problems. Different strategies are used to solve the problem, finding the right way.
One of the most common strategies for problem solving is the approach of critical thinking, which involves exclusion of incorrect responses and oriented on correct answers.
The pedagogical experience has been studied, the materials are presented in samples, examples, and descriptions.
This work facilitates the planning of the teaching process in compliance with the teacher's professional standards, the skills to solve the problem and the pursuit of the skills of the students to develop their thinking skills.
