Many reforms and projects were implemented in Georgia in the direction of public finance management. Over the years the Ministry of Finance of Georgia was involved in the development of the budget execution and reporting system, which was continually hindering for the chronic fiscal crisis and institutional instability of the nearest past. In spite of all this, it has become possible to establish a Treasury Service, that would provide mobilization of state resources and theirexpenditureinpriority.The objective of public finances is to ensure the control on the level of the costs and increase the profitability of the credit organization. In addition, as it is known, quite often, positive eventsgenerate itsresistance in the form of some negative consequences, which is the reason of economic risks.There are the number of factors that operate in the opposite direction and in total lead to losses in the level of welfare. Financial risks are related exactly to such losses.Financial risk and its management issues gain more actualityunder the modern global economy,when the international movement of production factors, goods and services, financial assets between the countries is increasing.Theoretical and practical significance of the master’s thesis presented by usis that the main findings of the research may be used by financial-credit institutions during the methodical provision of risk management.
