Domestic violence is physical,psychological, sexual,economic coercion between family members. Violence between spouses is a common case of domestic violence,it is rare for man to be a victim.violence against women is most common. However, vicitims of domestic violence may become minors,an elderly, disables family members. This masters thesis discusses three aspects of Domestic violence. The beginning is about the origin of the crime and it's forms of detection. The second stage of the paper is to stady the issues of response to crime.The legal mechanisms for responding to crime, such as the local as well as the international legal framework, are discussed. The third part of the paper deals with the protection of victims of violence and the legal status of abusers.The fours part Of the last paper of the paper discusses the challenges and mechanisms of the need for crime prevention.The last part of the paper deal with the involvement of the sTate and society in crime prevention. The final part of the master's thesis summarizes the results of the research. Characterizes the identified problematic issues and provides the need to take the necessary steps to solve the problem of domestic violence in the future.
