Abstract
The study presents the history of Polish identity from from 1860s to1940s through the analysis of Georgian print media. The mentioned period is the time of the same trials for the Georgian and Polish nations, both nations have to fight for the survival of their identities.
In the monograph, the discussion of various and numerous materials dedicated to the Polish identity is presented with the observation of public perceptions, values, memories, symbols. Media materials of different periods - before Georgia's independence, independence and the Soviet period - are analyzed and the importance of providing this material to Georgian readers is offered. The publication is intended for specialists and a wide range of readers
