Abstract
The international trade is the exchange of capital, good and services between countries. Countries, companies and all entities engaged in any activities outside the borders of the state for the purpose of financial gain are involved in international trade. Today, much of the country's gross domestic product comes from international trade.Although international trade is not new to mankind, it still existed before the birth of Christ inthe form of the famous Silk Road. Through which goods were exchanged to Europe from China, but international trade obtained the great importance only in the second half of the lastcentury, and most of the countries are involved in it afterward. International trade is not an easy process, it is accompanied by many impediments, which are due to differences between countries. Not all countries are alike, there are different political systems, different economic models, different cultures, currencies, exchange rate differences, and many other factors. That is why world trade organizations have been set up to facilitate trade between countries. In thispaper, I will discuss the impact of international trade on economic development and discuss the example of Georgia.
