Abstract
One of the most important issues in the 21
century is USA-China Relations in foreign policy
making. On the one side is the United State with its distinct foreign policy and strong economy
and on the other side there is the People’s Republic of China, whose rapidy growing economy
compete with the existing hegemony, that is why Chinese issue is now so important on the
international agenda. China’s growing annual economy, its role and significance in economic,
foreign policy and trade relations, has led to the interest of whole world.
st
The main goal of this Thesis is to study the relationship between the United States and China,
more specifically, the purpose of the work is to examine why the US foreign policy’s changing
attitude doesnot effect on economical growth. To understanding this the paper deals with two
major political parties: Democrats and Republicans and their attitude towards foreign policy,
trade and more particularly its about relationship with China. In the survey, there are two
examples of two Presidents: one is Barack Obama with his Democratic
party views and on the other hand there is Republican’s party presentator - George Bush. The
novelty in the present work is to see and represent the US-China relations with other currents.
Analyzing the fact that the economic ties between the two countries are so strong that the
change in foreign policy and the rotation of political parties cannot affect them, since they have
formed close and growing economic ties. In the example of variables and cases discussed in the
topic, we see that the change in US foreign policy has not affected economic ties. As a result of
this, we are making the conclusion that trade relations between China and America are
important for both countries, so the statements of various presidents, political tensions or
different parties in the country can not influence the trade relations between the US and China.
Depending on the facts and the complex interdependence theory, we can assume that the
relationship between the US and China has established close ties and that is exactly why both
countries cannot make negative consequences on trade and economical relationship.
