Abstract
The problem of time and space belong to one of the most important questions in anthropology. Time and space are inseparable and closely related to each other. Neither is homogenous. Both are heterogenous. Generally, to the festive time corresponds specially constructed festive space; the cosmic rhythms of important periods are associated with certain spaces: good or bad ( fortunate or ill-faced ), good and dangerous spaces exist in accordance to good and dangerous times). During the day, together with good and evil periods of time, there are marginal areas where the presence is especially dangerous (e.g. in the transitional period between day and night, in the border zones of „inner“ and „outer“ spaces). The study of center symbolics as an organizer of time and space is especially of great importance.
