“Safe food is a prerequisite for a healthy future”.
Food safety is one of the components of agro journalism. Georgia is looking forward to a large European family. Western values are very important for it. All citizens of the EU have the health right. Safe food is a precondition for maintaining it. The highest quality food products are priorities for countries. Requirements that make companies producing are very strict and unbreakable. The market is orderly and safe. Study on the local market and their comparison with European Regulations is a challenge for Georgian journalists. We decided to observe the currents events with social media eyes. We chose this type of opportunity because of today’s busy life mode and irreversible process of growth of the importance of internet space. “Food Safety Agency” is studying food safety issues in Georgia, which is a state institution under the Ministry of Agriculture. The work carried out by us shows that a large part of local goods have international certificates such as – ISO, HACCP and others. It is interesting to see how the quality of the certified product is appropriate. Study of topics will be a kind of monitoring and protection of the rights of consumers by journalists.
Increased point of view is the kind of mechanism to protect yourself all in this chaos.
