Abstract
Frequently, within the realm of folklore, one encounters information that eludes traceability in conventional historical sources and ethnographic records. Such narratives can prove instrumental in addressing contemporary issues within our country. This article delves into folklore motifs pertinent to addressing the ongoing border dispute in the region under study. It underscores their potential to sway the resolution of the matter in favour of our national interests.
The discussion centers on specimens of Tushetian and Khevsuretian poetry, underscoring their compelling evidence that the territory presently under Russian dominion is inherently Georgian, irrespective of cartographic depictions.
