In the following Master’s work - “Specifics of Representation of Leftism in Georgian online
Media” is represented how Georgian online media announces issues that are related to the
Left Ideology. The emphasis are put on such issues, which represent the struggles of the left
wing to achieve social justice: difficult social situation in the country, labour rights,
oppressed, marginalized groups and their problems - women, workers, sociall y vulnerable,
minorities and others, according to different characteristics. It is worthy to mention, that
this research topic is not studied in this regard.
The goal of the thesis is to present how Georgian online media announces these specific
issues and how it uses potential of critics in context of the left ideology while announcing
those issues that are related to the left ideology - do those media editions with their media
products work for the main principle of the above mentioned ideology, social justice and
equality.
