Abstract
The complex character of geographical analysis, natural, social, economic and ecological phenomena, research of space-time peculiarities of the processes, research of natural resources, the possibility of interconnection with global and regional - ecological problems makes geographical science especially relevant. At present, research on the spatial (local, regional and global) peculiarities of sustainable development is the main task of geography that is substantially different and is distinguished from other sciences. It is known that the biggest anthropogenic influence is on the largest cities in the world. That is why modern cities are treated as a typical anthropogenic system, where unchangeable natural landscapes almost don’t exist, And we can not have a positive sense of anthropogenic landscape without conscious assistance by the human being. In this regard we have a particularly difficult situation in Tbilisi, where the number of population is growing rapidly, which is directly reflected on its develepoment. Hence the importance of urban planning is given. Tbilisi is very diverse in terms of geomorphology and landscape, as it makes clear that in terms of geological and geo-ecological catastrophe, Tbilisi belongs to the extremely unhealthy cities list. Which is catastrophically affecting the city's improperly planned areas.
