The dissertation research studies two variable phenomena – the correlation of socio-political paradigm and literary awareness on an example of Georgia in the second half of the 19th century. Analysis of the phenomena has been carried out on the basis of different epochal circumstances.
It was especially important to realize that exactly in that period feudal institutions demolished and anticolonial fighting against the Russian Empire reinforced. All this was happening under general indigence and frequent pandemic-epidemic conditions, which had a big influence on public life including the development of literary processes.
