Abstract
The below research reviews the importance of work and life balance for employers as well as for employees. It also refers to the impact of high turnover taking into consideration its direct and indirect costs.
The research aims at determining the relationship between work-life balance and turnover at organizations. Mass survey as one of the most common methods of quantitative research was applied for the research. Within the survey, 354 respondents were interviewed via social network. They were part of the Georgian labor market who are currently employed or at least once in the past were employed. The survey was conducted through a self-contained questionnaire.
As a result of the study, it was established that work and life balance is quite closely related with the organizational turnover and one of the most important reasons for the employee's exit within organizations is the imbalance between the two.
The results have proven that organizations can use work-life balance as a tool for reducing high turnover
