Shida qartli region is one of the most sensitive areas of our country. Among the problems featured for countries, this region has the most important-occupation. As it is well-known, 20 % of our country ic occupied by our “friend country” Russia, for which the burden of our losing Afkhazeti was not enough and in 2008 put us under the presure of another war. The problems caused by this was is still actual and influences the region, as well as the country. Occupation is global and also originates accompanying problems. Exactly these problems has determined the theme of my choice- to show in my work how much attention is paid to Shida qartli region by the central press, how well the ongoing situation and news are reflected…
The three newspapers were chosen for discussion: “Georgian Rubric”, “Kviris palitra” and “Alia”. All of them are totally different from each other, this makes the research work far more interesting.
