In addition, Turkey is the only country in the Middle East that became a member of NATO in 1952, and moreover, it is one of the founding members of the organization. The reason for Turkey's accession to NATO was that it is a neighboring country of the Soviet Union. Thus, Turkey members of the United Nations over time. There have been precedents when the country had some problems becoming the member of the UN, however, all countries in the region are members of the UN. It is obvious that United Nations is interfering in the affairs of the Middle East, The UN is particularly active in the conflicts has been actively involved in all operations carried out by NATO since 1952.
There are international organizations in the region that are specifically designed for the countries of the region or sub-region or integrate the entire Islamic world. Among these organizations, the League of Arab States is the first to be mentioned, in which all, including the Arab countries in the region, are united.
Also noteworthy is the Gulf Cooperation Council, which specifically includes all countries in the Persian Gulf excluding Iran. This organization is still actively involved in the internal affairs of the Gulf states. In addition, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the League of the Islamic World are actively represented in the region. These organizations, as the name implies, unite Islamic countries and have different intensions. They are more or less involved in solving the problems between the countries of the Islamic world.
Of the three organizations in the region which we have already mentioned above, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is particularly active, with its effectiveness being very different from other organizations in the Islamic world.
