Publication XXI საუკუნის თანამედროვე ქართული ხელოვნების ზოგიერთი ტენდენციის შესახებ ვახო ბუღაძისა და ლევან ხარანაულის შემოქმედების მაგალითზე(Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, 2019); ; ; Quite interesting and important tendencies are observed in modern Georgian Art. It should be noted that the epochal process of searching and modern environment makes Art even more diverse, conceptually more meaningful and deep. Since XIX century in spite of the historical context, Georgian society of artists actively worked and managed to develop art, as well as remotely, to express and depict epochal drama, history from their point of view. Especially noteworthy is the generation of artists who appeared in artists’ circles or spaces of Tbilisi in the 1980-90s and continue their work even nowadays. Exactly these artists on the road of recent history managed “to revive - restore forgotten past and the actual present” and to develop art and to say new word despite historical, social and political contexts. The Master's thesis deals with the works of artists of present period (1980-90 years), Vakho Bughadze and Levan Kharanauli, the artists whose works emotionally impress appraisers, they managed to say a new word and to find such a form of expression, which clearly reflected their individualism and their attitude towards the work of art. Although these artists are well known by the society interested in modern Georgian Art, we should note that in fact there are no scientific researches, art criticisms, and artistic or creative analysis about them. The aim of the thesis is to review some graphic and scenic series, performed by these artists in different periods, to identify their characteristics and traits, find parallels with the work of other contemporary artists or their predecessors, in-depth creativity research and analysis, in modern Georgian as well as in modern world Art context.606 229
