The work " A Set Of Short Stories As A Modern Documentary Travelling Prose +According To "Silver Flowers" And "The White City" by Giorgi Sesiashvili deals with the different aspects of the modern day writer Giorgi Sesiashvili's works and documentary traveling prose which have not been a subject of complex study yet (of course, a few existing reviews are considered). In addition, the above literary genre neither with its original characteristics nor with the traditional concept exists in the Georgian literature in not very large amount. Thus, two things are important for our study - to fill the image of the interesting modern day writer's works with all necessary components and to give proper analysis and at the same time to promote somehow forgotten literary genre in the modern context. Literature is not created solely on the basis of knowledge but more often on the basis of spiritual experience. In the works the study is based on the story of travels depicted in the short stories, the writer's adventures, and the analysis of spiritual feelings which will be presented to the reader in the absolutely different literary world with the accompaniment of the artistic characteristic of the writer. Judging from the above, we consider that this question is a new page in the study in spite of the fact that researchers interest to Giorgi Sesiashvili's works has been increasing for the last few years. It should be also noted that the question chosen for our study is both interesting and actual as in the context of the analysis of one writer's creativity as well as the analysis of processes in modern Georgian literature.
