The subject of our research is to study the activity and work of a racist-terrorist organization “Ku Klux Clan”. Every ideological group is characterized by radical and rough activities in order to establish themselves in the social-political system. The peculiarities of the activities pursued by“Invisible Empire”are interesting as much as it was popular among American people and it had the impact on the process of developingof the country. Furthermore, our research provides information regarding theideological credo of the clan, their economicimpact, political aims and cultural characteristics.These pointswere being changed step by step in compliance with the rises and falls of the organization. The basic goal of the research is to reveal Ku Klux clan’s aims, methods of the fight and results, being consequences of the clan’s activities. The above-mentioned issues are less researched in Georgian Historiography, therefore we hope the thesis will be attractive and fascinating.
