The master's thesis discusses pressing issues such as methods for evaluating investment projects and issues that affect investment decisions. Successful implementation of investment activity requires preparation, analysis of investment projects and consequently, making the right decisions. Analysis of the investment project is important for assessing problems and risks in the implementation process. A stable investment environment helps minimize risks. There is no real insurance of investment risks in Georgia, the main lever for private investors is to study the investment environment in which it is planned to implement an investment project. As a rule, a high level of risk and uncertainty negatively affect investment decisions, so it is necessary to constantly work and look for new ways to reduce risks. It is necessary to pay attention to the methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of investment projects, which is used by the state to minimize risks in making investment decisions. The master's thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, six paragraphs, a conclusion and a list of references. The introduction discusses the validity of the relevance of the thesis, the object of study, goals and objectives, research methods, novelty of the research. The first chapter discusses the importance of investment projects and evaluation methods, as well as analysis of the effectiveness of investment projects. The second chapter covers methods for assessing risks and management of investment projects and also assesses the impact of coronavirus on the implementation of investment projects.
