The research is based on ethnographic data of Tusheti (East mountainous part of Georgia), discusses the habits of sheep farming, describes the deceases and their treatment methods and represents the transformations in nowadays sheep farming. The folk remedies were elaborated for the particular deceases. The paper demonstrates the special treatment that had been developed over time. Currently, sheep are vactinaited by shepherds if necessary. Remedies for various diseases are also easily available.
