In the historical context, we discussed the existing deals, their pros and cons also the problems and opportunities of the corporations which determine to make an M&A deals. The current trends in the market of mergers and acquisitions and the impact of these processes on the global pandemic caused by the corona virus (COVID19) and the consequent multifaceted constraints on the economy have also been discussed. The study discusses the market of the merger and acquisition of the United States, European countries and Georgia. The impact of this type of operation on both the business sector and the population as well as government. Using the example of Georgia, we discuss that part of the legislative framework that regulates Mergers and Acquisitions. This thesis consists of an introduction, four chapters, and corresponding subsections, which analyze the main aspects of the M&A deals in Georgia and abroad countries.
