    Kote Marjanishvili’s expressionist performances
(Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2021)
    Vasadze, Marina (Maka)
By the 20s of 20th century the expressionistic direction covered many areas of art, but it was more popular in German theatrical art. Expressionistic theatre is characterized by: expressing the ideas directly, abstract characters who are carriers of social functions. In dramaturgy, a person has become an addition to the profession chosen by himself/herself. Kote Marjanishvili, the famous Georgian theatre director, throughout his creative career constantly searched for new theatrical forms and techniques. Therefore, it is not surprising that he not only staged works of expressionist playwrights first at the Rustaveli Theatre, and then at the Marjanishvili Theater, but he also used expressionist techniques of performance, scenographic searches in combination with traditional Georgian theatre art. Marjanishvili staged plays of different genres or forms. Most importantly, he never stopped at what he once found. He was a director in constant search. Marjanishvili was the first who used cinematic techniques in Georgian theater.

    Dzamukashvili, Shorena
The aim of our research was to study the participation of students in the Georgian language and literature classes through observation; we found out how fully they are involved in the learning process. The observation was carried out in the 5th grades of specific five public schools, where students with learning disabilities were recorded. The observation of the lessons revealed that in most cases, the activities to be performed according to the plan remain a formality and the teacher cannot work according to the curriculum, due to the reasons that there is no time for the rest, and the students themselves have a low motivation to study. The observation showed that the teachers participating in the research, especially in numerous classes, have difficulty in teaching students with learning disabilities together with the class and preparing tasks and resources based on individual curricula. Their answers also revealed the need for a teacher's assistant to work permanently in the classroom, which is a well-tested and successful practice in European and American schools.

Постостмодернистская французская драматургия в интерпретации Римаса Туминаса
    (International scientific-practical conference Kazakhstan, 2020)
    Vasadze, Marina (Maka)

The role of Nursery school manager in developing inclusive education
(Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, 2022)
    Gabashvili, Natia
Early inclusive education plays a significant role in upholding principles, and the leadership of early childhood and preschool institutions is crucial in this regard. The management style and working practices of these institutions have an impact on the quality of early education. Therefore, it is the manager's responsibility to ensure that he and his team create an environment where everyone is respected, valued, and welcomed with joy. As part of our research, a study on the experiences and attitudes of managers in the kindergartens of Telavi Municipality has been planned. he research revealed that the assessment of kindergarten operations is not conducted in terms of the development of early inclusive education. However, respondents believe that an early inclusive education strategy should be in place in kindergartens. According to this strategy, educators should actively participate in working with children instead of solely referring children to specialists for special needs (except when absolutely necessary). In this regard, the training of kindergarten managers is crucial, as well as further raising awareness on this issue.

Language Behaviors Signifying Lecturers’ Social Identity in the Business English Teaching Context
(The International Society for Technology Education and Science, 2023)
    Buskivadze, Khatuna
The present study aims to investigate the socio- and applied linguistic functions and frequency of lecturers’ language behaviors (code-switching (CS), code-mixing (CM), and translanguaging) in terms of showing lecturers’ social identity in the Georgian educational discourse, namely, in teaching Business English (English for Specific Purposes - ESP) at the university level. An examination of Georgian discursive peculiarities is a novel addition to this field of research, as there are very few studies focusing on Georgian lecturers’ language behaviors in English for Specific Purposes (ESP). Both quantitative (online questionnaires (70 students) and qualitative (8 lecturers’ recorded lectures) research methods are used to illustrate the functions of using code-switching, code-mixing, and translanguaging in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) (lecturers’ recorded lessons (80 hours). Surprisingly, in contrast to previous studies’ findings, we found that the Georgian and English languages are equally used for informal and formal purposes. Both languages are used to express solidarity in classroom conversations. The given study is a unique example in which both English and Georgian are used as marked/unmarked (“We-code”, “They-code”) choices, as previous studies only considered L1 (first language) as “we-code” and a foreign language (English) was regarded solely as “they code.” Within 80 hours of recordings (ESP), 549 cases of code-switching, 103 cases of code-mixing, and 177 cases of translanguaging, planned use of L1 (Georgian) were detected in teaching vocabulary. Consequently, using translanguaging can be beneficial to business English lecturers seeking to improve and fossilize students’ business terminology in Georgian. The business English lecturers consider the English language to be an inseparable part of their identity, however, they still incorporate the mother tongue in their lectures for encouraging the enhancement of the Business terminology in the Georgian language.

Deconstruction and semiotic analysis of fashion signs
(Arts Research Institute of Ilia State University, 2013)
    Mgaloblishvili, Nino
In the presented work avtor interest also the fashion as semiotike fenomen. Theoretical basics of semiotik studying of a phenomenon of fashion covered by us are based on results of researchesof this cultural mode by R. Barth in structuralistic approach. In partikular, in work "Fashion sistem" (1967) avtor consider process of the semiotikes analysis and a deconstruction of a discourse of the fashion. R. Barth opens a new method for researchers of fashion. Classikal work about fashion semiotiks - "Fashion sistem" contains R. Barth's views about fashion as about sistem of signs which, in turn gave a creative impetus to post-modernist concepts of fashion of J. Baudrillard. The Barth's semiotics of the fashion working by the principal of the myth, has something in common with the concept of simulation of Baudrillard in which the french theorist of a consumerizm considers formation f a spectacular form of goods in modern societies. Baudrillard focuses the attention on the social parties of a phenomenon of fashion which coincidesfor it with simulation in a broad sense: for Baudrillard today in the center of interests of the person there is a world of signs simulacra in the razlichy culture areas - art, fashion, massmedia, equipment, sex and also between language and other sistems of representation - painting, cinema, etc ( that differs from a previous phase of cultural development for which the functional value of a thing was a dominant. In works of known scientific postmodernists R. Barth and J. Baudrillard the Fashion appears as the mystified sistem of the relations between clothes and life, between image, a signe and business. The culture of consumption, in particular, clothes consumption, is considered as "the sistematyc act of manipulation by signs".

The issue of experimental modeling of design culture (the example of pilotproject activities in the direction of design of the TSA)
(Apolon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, 2023)
    Mgaloblishvili, Nino
Today, theorists consider design as a universal method that can be used in almost any life situation. Thereby, the question of rethinking the content and tasks of the professional training of designers in higher education (the introduction of project-based learning, the development of specific design thinking among students, the transition to problem-based learning, etc.) is of particular relevance. In the article, design is considered a special type of project activity, one of the main parts of which is artistic and design creativity. The article discusses the possibilities of design training for design students in higher education institutions. The author's experience of project-based learning in design education is presented. A model of the development process for future designers has been developed. In the working process, we combined academic and pragmatic knowledge, maintaining an appropriate balance at each stage. It is shown that the active use of various methods of design technology and heuristics is an important part of the methodological complex aimed at developing the artistic and design competence of students. The development of methods of educational technologies based on the latest theoretical and innovative design tools, as well as design education, is discussed. It is shown that when working on a project (design object), the student thoughtfully and creatively uses the knowledge already obtained in the educational process, which allows them to achieve high-quality results in a short time when solving a design problem. The paper uses a cultural approach that considers education as an integral part of the culture; a technological approach, which considers the „method of projects“ as one of the effective educational technologies; empirical research methods; pedagogical observation, analysis of students' educational activities; pedagogical experiment; and heuristic methods. The conducted research allows offering conditions for the effective application of design activity in the educational process.
