Publication Anti-Crisis Management Strategies Banking Business in Condition of the PandemicThe development and successful functioning of the banking system is an important foundation in the conditions of a modern market economy. At different stages of development, most countries in the world, including Georgia, have experienced banking crises of varying magnitude and severity, which has had a significant negative impact on their economic situation. The study of financial crises is one of the most complex, key and current directions in modern economic science and it is given the greatest attention by the classics of economic theory. The paper "Anti-Crisis Management Strategies in Georgian Banking Business in Condition of the Pandemic" discusses the identification of banking crises, determinants and strategies for their reduction and prevention. The main goal of commercial banks is to get out of the current financial crisis with less losses, because the bank should be solvent and respond to the expected challenges. Due to the above, the issue is very relevant for the representatives of the banking sector and the public. The paper mainly discusses the negative impact of the financial crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic on the banking sector and develops ways to improve the crisis. The main purpose and objectives of the study are to analyze the role of financial crises in the banking sector, the involvement of the state and the National Bank in overcoming banking crises and to discuss the strategies used by commercial banks in Georgia to overcome financial difficulties caused by the bank's domestic policy or macroeconomic factors. The findings and recommendations based on the research will enable the effective management of banking crises, which in turn will improve the performance of the banking sector.117 177
